Terms and Conditions

1. Scope

These terms apply to contracts for parenting coaching and parent courses, in particular the Hand in Hand Parenting Starter Class, between Julia Sutter, Harbatshofen 10 ½, 88167 Stiefenhofen, Germany (“Coach”) and her clients.

2. Services

The Coach provides one-to-one coaching and parent courses online or in person. They offer reflection, orientation and education for family life; a particular result is not guaranteed. They do not replace psychological, medical, therapeutic or legal advice.

3. Contract

Submitting a form clearly marked as binding registration is a binding offer. The contract is concluded when the Coach confirms the registration by email. A simple request for a course place or a waitlist entry is non-binding. Scope, dates, format and fees follow the information shown at registration and the confirmation.

4. Prices and payment

The prices stated when the contract is concluded apply. Julia Sutter is a small business owner under section 19 UStG; VAT is not shown. Unless agreed otherwise, course fees are due before the course and coaching fees before the session.

5. Cancellations

Coaching appointments may be cancelled or moved free of charge up to 24 hours before they start. Later cancellations and no-shows are charged unless a replacement appointment is agreed.

Starter Class cancellations are free up to 14 days before the course begins. Later cancellations or non-attendance are charged in full unless a replacement arrangement or suitable substitute participant is agreed. The statutory right of withdrawal remains unaffected. Missed individual sessions generally cannot be made up or refunded.

6. Participation and confidentiality

For online services, clients provide a suitable device, stable connection and confidential setting. Access details and materials may not be shared. All participants must keep personal information and statements from group sessions confidential. Recordings are not permitted without the express consent of everyone affected.

7. Materials

Course materials are protected by copyright and intended for personal use only. They may not be shared, published, adapted or commercially used without prior permission.

8. Liability

The Coach has unlimited liability for intent, gross negligence and injury to life, body or health. For ordinary negligence, liability is limited to breach of an essential contractual duty and the typically foreseeable loss. Mandatory statutory liability remains unaffected.

9. Withdrawal

Consumers generally have a statutory right of withdrawal for distance contracts. See the withdrawal information.

10. Final provisions

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Statutory venues apply to consumers. If one provision is invalid, the remaining provisions remain effective.
